Chiiiile, let me tell you something tender and true today: you can say yes to yourself even when your hands are shaking. You can say yes to your calling, your dream, your next right step — even when your mind is crowded with doubt. Somewhere along the way, many of us picked up the lie that we have to be completely confident before we move. That we have to wait until we feel 100% ready, 100% fearless, 100% clear. But the truth, love? Most people doing bold things are scared when they start. They just decided to move anyway.
I know what it’s like to wrestle with your own voice. To feel the tug in your spirit and still wonder, “Who am I to do this? What if I’m not enough? What if I fail?” I know what it’s like to look at your own dream and feel small standing next to it. But let me pour this into you today: you are allowed to take up space before you feel “qualified.” You are allowed to walk forward trembling. You are allowed to carry your doubt with you and still choose to show up.
Saying yes to yourself is not about ego; it’s about trust. It’s about saying, “I trust that the purpose inside me was planted for a reason. I trust that my gifts matter. I trust that even when I am unsure, God, the universe, or whatever grounds me will guide my feet.” Purpose isn’t something you magically step into one day when you’ve “arrived.” Purpose is something you live into, imperfectly, day by day — with every small yes you give yourself.
So today, love, I want you to pause and ask: Where have I been holding back my yes? Where have I been waiting for someone else to validate my path? Where have I been letting fear be louder than faith? Then, take one small step. Send the email. Make the call. Post the work. Say the prayer. Open the notebook. Sign up, show up, or simply whisper to yourself, “I’m ready to try.” You don’t have to be fearless to be faithful. You don’t have to know the ending to start the beginning.
Journal prompt for tonight: Where in my life am I waiting for “perfect” before I say yes? What fear is holding me back, and what is one small action I can take this week to move anyway? How can I remind myself that doubt is a passenger, not the driver, on this journey?
Affirmation: I am worthy of showing up. I am allowed to take space. I can hold doubt and faith at the same time — and still choose to move forward.
Let’s close this moment in prayer: God, give me the courage to say yes to the life You’ve placed before me. Quiet the noise of fear and amplify the voice of trust within me. Help me walk not in perfection, but in purpose — knowing that You will meet me in every step I take. Thank You for the gifts inside me. Thank You for the doors You are opening. I say yes to You. I say yes to me. Amen.
With love that holds you + pushes you,
