Chiiiile… let’s talk about the mess. Not just the clothes piled in the corner, not just the stack of mail you’ve been meaning to open for three weeks — I’m talking about the clutter you can’t always see. The mental clutter of overthinking, the spiritual clutter of holding grudges, the emotional clutter of relationships that should’ve ended seasons ago. Your temple can’t breathe under all that weight, and neither can you.
See, we underestimate how connected our outer environment is to our inner peace. You ever notice how your mood shifts when your house is clean? Or how your mind feels lighter when you finally handle that task you’ve been avoiding? That’s because God designed us for order. The Bible says He is not the author of confusion — so if your temple is overflowing with chaos, something is out of alignment. Physical clutter is often just a reflection of internal clutter, and until you deal with both, you’ll stay stuck in the same cycle.
And let me sip some truth tea here — some of y’all are holding on to things that are spiritually rotting in your life. That gift from an ex that still makes your stomach knot. That pile of “just in case” clothes you don’t even like but keep because you’re afraid to release them. That toxic group chat that you read every day but claim “you’re just scrolling.” Sis, those things are not souvenirs — they’re spiritual dust collecting in your temple. If it’s tied to a version of you that God already called out of, it’s time to let it go.
Decluttering is more than cleaning — it’s making room. When you release what’s weighing you down, you create space for peace, clarity, and blessings to move in. Don’t be afraid to let go, because what God has for you can’t come into a space that’s already overcrowded. And I promise you — the freedom you feel after a deep cleanse, inside and out, will make you wonder why you didn’t start sooner.
✍🏾 Journal Prompt:
- What physical items in my space no longer align with who I am becoming?
- What relationships or routines feel like clutter in my life?
- What’s one thing I can release today to make room for peace?
💛 Affirmation:
I release what no longer serves my highest good.
My temple is clear, my spirit is light, and my space reflects peace and purpose.
🙏🏾 Prayer:
Father, thank You for the reminder that my temple is meant to be a place of peace and clarity. Show me the clutter — physical, emotional, and spiritual — that is keeping me from Your best. Give me the courage to release what no longer serves me and the wisdom to fill my space with only what aligns with Your purpose for my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.
With love, truth, and the kind of grace that doesn’t sugarcoat,

Keep becoming. Keep choosing you.
