Title: Chiiiile, the World Is Heavy: But So Are We

Dearest Gentle Healers,

Chiiiile… whew. If we’re being honest, it feels like the world’s gone mad.
Everywhere I turn, somebody’s struggling to make sense of it all — women being talked at instead of listened to, working people fighting to survive off paychecks that don’t stretch, and groceries so high I had to pray before swiping my card. And don’t even get me started on these insurance rates — Lord, they’ve lost their everlasting mind.

We’re living in a world that keeps trying to convince us that struggle is normal and injustice is just “the way it is.” But I’m not buying it. I’m tired of watching women be silenced, underpaid, and underestimated — as if our softness disqualifies our strength. Tired of seeing people work themselves to the bone and still feel like they’re falling behind. Tired of the arrogance that dares to rank one human being above another.

Who gave anyone the right to say who’s better? Who decided men get power while women get permission? Who declared some lives valuable and others expendable? It’s madness — and it’s heavy.

And yet, here we are, still standing. Still praying. Still pushing through the exhaustion, trying to keep faith in a world that keeps testing it. That’s what makes us powerful — our ability to keep showing up even when the weight of the world is pressing on our shoulders.

Gentle Healers, I want you to know it’s okay to be angry. It’s okay to be frustrated. That’s not a lack of faith — that’s a sign of awareness. Holy frustration is what shakes the system, what stirs the spirit, what pushes you to say, “Enough.” Don’t let this heaviness harden your heart. Let it refine your vision. Let it call you higher — into compassion, into courage, into action.

The world may be a mess right now, but baby, so are most breakthroughs before they’re born. And we’re birthing something new — a generation that won’t stay silent, women who won’t stay small, and faith that won’t stay still.

With love, truth, and the kind of grace that doesn’t sugarcoat,

Keep becoming. Keep choosing you.

✍🏾 Journal Prompts:

  1. What part of today’s world frustrates me the most, and why?
  2. How can I turn my frustration into fuel for positive change or purpose?
  3. In what ways can I protect my peace while staying informed and engaged?

💛 Affirmation:

I am powerful even in my frustration.
I am a voice for truth, not a victim of chaos.
I am grounded in faith, guided by love, and built to rise.

🙏🏾 Prayer:

Father, this world feels heavy right now. Some days, it’s hard to see hope through the headlines. But I know You are still in control. Strengthen my heart when I feel weary. Give me wisdom to know when to speak and when to be still. Help me to lead with love, even when I’m angry, and to believe that justice and peace still have a place in this world. Remind me that frustration can be holy when it’s tied to purpose. Use me, Lord — to heal, to help, and to hold space for change.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
